POLICIES OF TECMOBUILDERS EDITORS

Editing Policies

We edit every Tecmo Super Bowl game ever made with the exception of PSX Tecmo Super Bowl.  We also edit most other sports games by request.  We DO NOT edit action or adventure games.

 

Games may be abandoned by editors, they are all archived and available for anyone to edit (open source format), you may continue or improve any edit by contacting slimgames@tecmobowl.org.  Be sure to give credit to the original editor.

Editor Conduct

Editors who are hosted or helping out with projects at TecmoBuilders will behave in a mature manner.  There will be NO ATTACKING other members or editors of the online rom gaming community.  If someone criticizes your edit behave and act like a civilized person.

Even though people may not like your rom, you must not lose your cool.  Consider it overly harsh constructive criticism.  The members of the community more or less know what they are talking about.  Those who retaliate with incredibly harsh comments, or act with malice will be removed completely from TecmoBuilders.

Another large part of our conduct policy is that of credit.  You must give credit to those who have helped you.

TecmoBuilders Name Properties

Original products that started and ended on TecmoBuilders Member Sites (including hosted edits) will have Tecmobuilders Member Sites logos.  All other games that are hosted and brought to us for help do not need the logo on their productions.  The person may or may not choose to put the name or logo on the game, that is up to them.

Monetary Policy

NO MONEY will be exchanged for rom or rom production.  Anyone who is rumored to be doing this will be totally removed from TecmoBuilders.
