TecmoBuilders has a great past and we keep setting history as we go. Check back from time to time to see how things are going

The left hand picture was part of the logo that was part of the first Home Page at Slimgames.  Slimgames started after a post from Gripsmoke about getting a TSB 3 Season together.

Slim_jimmy7 (me) than took the remaining interest from the league and created a quick pick up games league and a place to make TSB 3 Edits.

There was around 13 members and most played at least one game.

Things like Blue 48 and it’s 48 hour stat guarantee were part of the now defunct league.

Rod Woodson from knobbe.org was gracious enough to give us space on his message board.  Shortly after we realized the league was not big enough for knobbe.org, Slimgames Game Deposit was created to facilitate uploading games.

Facing increasing pressure from members to get an automated system for uploading, and with the emergence of a new online league rumored on the horizon, Slimgames shut down it’s league operations and sent members over to www.tecmohaven.com  .  At that time it was a nameless league project by edisaurusrex, who Slimgames was going to have a partnership with.

With the arrangement Slimgames and Edisaurusrex’s Project would be a “hub” for SNES Tecmo Super Bowl stuff.  After realizing that the project would put us in competition with “The Repository” the merger quickly dissipated.

Slimgames was now without a mission and without a format.  Later on that month Slimgames announced it’s new format:

Editing all SNES Tecmo Super Bowl games along with NES Tecmo and other sports games.

Since the realignment we had gained over 50 members and have thrived in many ways.  Our first completed project (TSB 41) won an award at knobbe.org and we hope to put together many more awards!

Starting the new year of 2007, Slimgames’s address changed, you can now find it at the TecmoBuilders.com network.  This was created by Slim in order to coordinate and unite editing websites and aspiring editors. GRG Sports is also a flagship member.
