Blue 48 started at the beginning of Slimgames back in February of 2006. Originally it was used as a system to put together stats for what then was called "The Combines", a TSB 3 pick up games league created by slim_jimmy7. In May of 2006 Blue 48 and "The Combines" was shut down due to lack of demand, and slim gave all his efforts over to tecmohaven.com and edisaurusrex. Slim_jimmy7 is still a small part of tecmohaven, and is very glad for the success the site has had. Blue 48 ended.

Fastfowarding to February of May 2007. Slim_jimmy7 was in the process of building a new site called Tecmobuilders when he stumbled upon the code for drop down menus and shortly after found a code for a slide show box. This code came from javascriptsource.com. Still more code came in and slim_jimmy7 wanted to give the technology to other Tecmobuilders members so he created a separate division for members to request and help create game profile technology. This division was aptly called Blue 48 Interactive.

All members of Tecmobuilders qualify to get this technology in their website template. And all of Tecmobuilders game profiles use this technology for showing games.
